MyungJoo Ham, Ph.D., has been working for Samsung and recently restructuring Tizen so that there can be only one build project and one binary repository for all Tizen profiles and it is possible to configure OS for arbitrary device types without rebuilding binaries or diverge source codes, which is being applied to Tizen 4.0. He had been an architect of Tizen Base domain and System domain and has been a Linux kernel maintainer of a few mobile-related subsystems. Other than Linux kernel, he had contributed significantly in .NET core project, porting it for Linux/ARM. Before joining Samsung in 2009, he had been in UIUC and received Ph.D. in Computer Science.
