Ron has been involved in various sectors of the high technology industry for over 25 years. Ron started in computer systems at Sun Microsystems as a hardware engineer and moved to semiconductors as an early employee at Silicon Image where he was one of the drivers for adoption of TMDS (Transition Minimized Differential Signaling) into LCD monitors. TMDS technology became the basis for HDMI which is the digital interface used in almost every flat panel monitor and television today. From displays and serial links, Ron became the product line manager for asymmetric cryptographic co-processor products at Atmel Corporation and drove certificate-based authentication for security in IoT applications. Currently, Ron is the Director of Business Development for Kyrio’s Security Solutions business unit and is working to define solutions that address the evolving security needs for the Internet of Things.
Ron has an MSEE from the University of Delaware and a Masters of Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
